About James Hey

James Hey

Dr. James Hey is an artist residing in Dixon, Illinois. His interest in painting began in the '70s. This Interest was renewed in the early 2000s and has continued since that time. Much of his recent work is in areas of sharp contrast working from very bright areas to very dark areas thus providing an intensity of contrast. He served on the board of The Next Picture Show Art Gallery in Dixon for 10 years and was President for two years. He has three children with Whitni Hey and 12 grandchildren.
